I need a "Licensed Bartender" Can I get this from you?

Actually there is no such thing as a” Licensed Bartender". Bartenders can be certified or Insured and we are both.

What is general Liability Insurance?

This type of policy covers losses related to non-liquor related activities, example damage to personal property. NOTE: General Liability does not cover losses related to alcohol. If someone says they are insured ask to see the certificate. We carry liability Insurance.

What is Liquor Liability Insurance?

This type of policy covers losses resulting from liquor related activities -- for example if a guest at the event has too much to drink and causes an accident/or injury. If someone says they have Liquor Liability Insurance ask to see the certificate. We carry Liquor liability Insurance.

Do you need a Liquor License to Cater Alcohol?

YES!! If you do not have a special event permit or License you cannot nor can we accept money for liquor.

Do Caterers have Liquor Licenses?

Some do and some do not, it is a question to ask and see their license.

What are your fees?

We have a 4-hour minimum. Time can be extended to the 1/2 hour or full hours. All Servers and Bartenders dedicate their night to your event and you can choose to keep them longer to help you finish what you would like. Please call or for rates

What do the servers do and what do they bring?

Servers: greeting guests, coat checking, set-up chairs and tables, light food prep, buffet set-up, restocking, clean-up thru event, refill beverages, trash removal, dishes, tear down. They bring Apron and proper uniform and equipment.

What do the Bartenders do and what do they bring?

Bartenders will set-up entire bar, glassware and ice beverages, serve throughout night, clean-up bar area, remove trash, dump ice, dry off any remaining bottles, pack up or store any remaining beverages. Tear down bar if desired. Bartenders will come with the following equipment: ice bucket, large cooling bin, cooler, ice scoop, shaker, 2 pitchers, cutting board, knife, wine opener, bottle opener, pour spouts.

What do Bartenders and Servers wear?

Uniforms are per the client’s choice, we have 3 standards:

  1. Long sleeve white collared shirt with a long black tie, with black slacks, and black shoes
  2. White polo shirt, khaki pants or black pants
  3. All black
  4. Tuxedo shirt and Tie, black pants

How far do you travel?

Any location more than 30 minutes from the metro area is $25 per person. Each additional 30 minutes is an additional $25 per person.

Does Bartenders and more provide glassware?

We do not provide glassware, but can help you in deciding the amount needed and where to get.

Do you provide ice?

We can provide ice upon request, there will be a $25 charge plus the expense of the ice.

How long have you been in business?

Bartenders and More has been serving the Denver metro area since 1985.

How much is a good tip?

Tips are always the discretion of the client. We typically will suggest 20% or more per person. Totaled from the hourly total at the end of the event.

Can I request someone for my party?

We will always try to arrange the individual you request but due to our Bartenders and Servers being in great demand it will be upon a first come first serve basis on requests. We will truly try to match you to another Server or Bartender that we think would be best suited for your event.

What if I didn’t like my Server or bartender?

We do our best to match the right server or bartender for your needs, if for any reason you did not think your staff was a good match we will insure that the next person will be to the quality you require for your event.

How much liquor do I need?

We provide on our website a suggested Liquor List to create your own if desired. If you would like more help please fill out the Liquor list questionnaire and we will gladly put together a suggested amount for your event.

Is there anything you won't do?

Yes! To list a few… no valet parking, no driving guests or hosts anywhere, no climbing in dumpsters, no house cleaning, no cooking unless a chef is hired.
